Hydrothermal Reaction of Na2MoO4.2H2O and L-Cysteine

Post by Nayeem_Reaz »

Hello,

I want to create MoS2 from Na2MoO4.2H2O and L-cysteine ( C3H7NO2S) at 200 °C. But I am confused about the result of this reaction. What will be the byproduct of MoS2?

Will you help me?

Regards-

Not a good idea, to many unknown products, like oxides carbonates, nitrogen compounds and sulfides.

Why not use a more simple compound like sodium sulfide Na2S.

Actually, L - Cystiene make more biocompateble, so I choose this route.
