I've been performing analysis on croscarmellose sodium to the European pharmacopoeia and don't quite understand how the calculation works. Can anyone help?

I have not the exact answer, but we think that to obtain the good milliequivalents of base, we should add the 25 mL initially added to the x mL of the titration minus the total mL of acid

In any case titration should be not much different from titration of sodium acetate except you should allow material to swell and fully penetrate acid into the material during titration.
