Use of tyres to form methane
Basically, I have to find the stoichiometry of a tyre which we have determined as a surrogate molecule to be C72H86S. I have to determine the conversion of this to Methane as an approximation for a design of a reactor and the calculation of a rate. So I was wondering what equation I could use.

Re: Use of tyres to form methane
Hundreds of possibilities.
C72H86S => 22 CH4 + H2S + 50 C
or ading hydrogen C72H86S + 102 H2 => 72 CH4 + H2S
But I dont think it will go so clear. Probably you will get crack products.
