What's wrong with it?...

Post by online »

KMnO4 + Na2SO3 + NaOH -> ?...

I though it will be like this:

KMnO4 + Na2SO3 + NaOH -> K2MnO4 + Na2SO4 + H2O + K2SO4

but it can't be balanced :/

What am I doing wrong? :(

Close but not exactly!
It goes like that:

Code: Select all

2 KMnO4 + Na2SO3 + 2 NaOH = K2MnO4 + Na2MnO4 + Na2SO4 + H2O
