H2SO4 stabilization in soil media

Post by gurubpch »

I wanted to know the the chemical, which will react with H2SO4 and produced some product (may be some mineral), which is less volumenous in nature. During this reaction no gas to be produced. All this reaction has to takes place in soil media.

For ex on equation I am giving

CaCO3+ H2SO4----->CaSO4+HCO3

your kind help in this regard is highly solicited

Some soils contain Al2O3, it reacts with H2SO4:

Code: Select all

Al2O3 + 3 H2SO4 = Al2(SO4)3 + 3 H2O
