what is the excited electron configuration of a sulfur atom? and how would the orbital diagram look like?

In ground state sulfur has:
1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p4
If you promote an electron to a higher orbital it will give you an excited state, for example:
1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p3 3d1
