How many moles of ions are in a solution of 3.2 moles FeCl3 in 500mL water?

FeCl3 dissociates as:

FeCl3 = Fe{3+} + 3Cl{-}
therefore there are 4 moles of ions per each mole of original compound.
The answer: 3.2*4=12.8
