hw help

Post by melvillc »

okay the equation is
5C+2SO2==>CS2+4CO

question: how many moles of C are needed to react with 5.44 mol SO2?

AND I DID: 5.44 MOL SO2=5molC/2molSO2 which equaled 13.6molC

question is do i stop there or do i set 13.6molC=12.01C/1mol=166.34gC
i'm not sure which one is the answer[[ones in red]]
