balancing Pb(NO3)2 rxns....

Post by jenna »

all of these rxns are double displacement - we did them in chem lab today - i know each forms a precipitate that it falls out of soln ... but i need help with balancing them ... i think the 3rd may be balanced but idk for sure

Pb(NO3)2 + CuSO4 = PbSO4 + Cu(NO3)2

Pb(NO3)2 + NaOH = PbOH + Na(NO3)2

Pb(NO3)2 + AgNO3 = 2PbNO3 + Ag2(NO3)2 ** is this right??

You can balance them here: http://www.webqc.org/balance.php
Although please correct some formulas: Pb(OH)2, Pb(NO3)2, AgNO3.
