Calculate the energy released (in ) from the metabolism of 3.00 fluid oz of vodka that is 62.0% water and 38.0% ethanol by volume, assuming that the total volume is equal to the sum of the volume of the two components. The density of ethanol is 0.824 g/mL .

can someone just tell me briefly what is happening in this question and what they wanna know, it will be really appreciative if u support me.

Here is a plan to follow:
Compute volume of ethanol alone -> mass of ethanol -> number of moles of ethanol -> amount of energy which is released when this number of moles burns.
