Question:
I have to show how with water H₂S acts as an acid.
However, I'm not even sure what product this would form?
I was thinking perhaps H₂SO₄ but I cannot work out how that would balance?
Please help!

H₂S is a very weak acid, so it will ionize in water
H₂S + H₂O = H₃O(+) + SH(-)

The reaction is reversible.
