please help me w/ this 2 problems, thanks!

Q₁: Explain why the name for MgCl₂ is magnesium chloride but the name for CuCl₂ is copper (II) chloride.

Q₂: Does the fact that two elements combine in a one-to-one atomic ratio means that the charges on their ions are both 1? Explain.

Q₁: Becuse there are different copper chlorides.

Q₂: No, that only means that they have the same absolute values of charges.
