HOW BLUE INK FOR FOUNTAIN PEN IS PREPARED?

Post by Novle »

Hello,

I want to prepare Blue Ink and Black for the fountain pen as well I want to prepare Whiteboard Ink (the Ink which is easily erased and removed on drying) but I do not have exact knowledge how to prepare Inks that is why I need some guide and information.

I hope that you will surely cooperate me and answer my following questions.

What chemicals / ingredients are required to prepare Blue Ink and Black Ink for fountain Pen? How these Inks for the fountain pens are prepared commercially or in industries? How much quantity (stoichiometry) of chemicals / ingredients I should use to prepare good quality Ink, please also explain me material balance (stoichiometry) required for the preparation.

Similarly what chemicals / ingredients are used to prepare Whiteboard Ink? Why it is easily removed after writing? and how to prepare it?

I will always remain thankful and grateful to you for your kindness.

I will wait for your positive response impatiently.

Thanks

Use Google. Obviously these kinds of pens are outdated. The most popular dye for the inks was methyl violet

also read about inks here:

Black ink could be a mixture of methyl violet and some red dye
You still can buy them. They commonly used for stamps now.

Remember safety first! Check MSDS and consult with professionals before performing risky experiments.
