Balanced equation reflects the number of moles of the reagents which undergo the chemical transformation and the number of moles of the products which are synthesized in the reaction.

in the chemical reaction-equation, no element loss, no add. if not balanced, where are the lost things going ?

but some times, you can use --> but not =, then you can ignore wehter the equation is balanced !
