Please help..balancing equation

Post by mechann1138 »

What is the formula for each reactant and product. Then the complete chemical equation, include the physical state substance.

1. Aqueous lead (II) chloride reacts with acqueous sodium sulfate to produce precipitate and aqueous sodium chloride.

2. Aqueous chlorine and aqueous potassium bromide react to make a solution of potassium chloride and bromine.

3. sodium metal combine with chlorine gas to form crystalline sodium chloride.

4. solid sodium bicatbonate decomposes to make aqueous sodium carbonate, carbon dioxide gas and water.

5. aluminum combines with oxygen gas to form solid aluminum oxide.

6. Methane gas undergoes combustion with oxygen to produce carbon dioxide and water.

7. Lithium metal combines with oxygen to form lithium oxide.

8. aqueous silver nitrate reacts with solid copper to form a cupric nitrate solution and silver crystals.

9. Solid calcium carbonate decomposes to produce calcium oxide and carbon dioxide.

10. a sodium hydroxide solution neutralizes a hydrochloric acid solution to form a solution of sodium chloride and water.

11. solid mercuric oxide decomposes to form liquid mercury metal and oxygen

12. Iron metal reacts with water to form iron (III) oxide and hyrogen gas.

13.Aluminum reacts with a solution of hydrochloric acid to form aluminum chloride dissolved in water.

14. Aluminum gas and oxygen combine to form nitrous oxide and water vapor.

thanks for helping me about writing formula of this chemicals...

Have you tried to write chemical formula of the compunds buy yourself?
I would suggest you to try that first and then ask only about those which you cannot write.
Once you've expressed everything in terms of the chmeical formula you might want to try balance them and then check the answer with the balancer: http://www.webqc.org/balance.php
