Complete and Balance Equations...please help!!!

Post by lexy80 »

I am doing my chemistry homework and would really like some help. I need to complete and balance:

1) Ca(NO3)2(aq) + Na3PO4(aq) ----->
--What type of reaction is this?
-- Is this a redox reaction?
--Will the reaction go from left to right?

3Ca(NO3)2(aq) + 2Na3PO4(aq) = Ca3(PO4)2(s) + 6NaNO3(aq)
What type of reaction is this? double replacement
Is this a redox reaction? No, because nothing changes it's oxidation state
Will the reaction go from left to right? Yes, because one of the products is solid
