Chemical Reaction

Post by Ms forensics »

The decomposition reaction of H2O2 in dilute sodium hydroxide solution is as follow: 2H2O2(aq)->2H2O(l) + O2(g)
If the reaction is first order in H2O2, the rate constant is 1.8x10^-5.s-1 and the [H2O2]0 =0.30M;

a) What is the concentration of H2O2 after 4.00h?
b) How long will it take for H2O2 concentration to drop to 0.12M?
c) How long will it take for 90% of the H2O2 to decompose?
