Unbalanced Equation HCl+MnO2=H2O+MnCl2+Cl2

Post by Bob Vezzani »

I have 5 grams of manganese(IV) oxide:

how many moles of manganese(IV) oxide do I have?
How many moles of HCl do I need to complete the reaction?
How many grams of HCl do I need for a complete reaction?
How many grams of each product, H2O, MnCl2 and Cl2 would be formed?
How can I show mass has been conserved in this reaction?
Is the number of Atoms conserved? How?
Is number of molecules conserved? How?
