How can we use a simple chemical reaction between kitchen ingredients (like vinegar and baking soda) to create carbon dioxide gas, and what are the practical uses of this gas in everyday life (e.g. baking, putting out a small fire)?

Put some baking Soda in a Beaker or flask and if you add vinegar to it, you will see bubbles. These bubble made by carbondioxide.
The gas you can guides to a burning candle. The flame will be extinguished.

During baking bread or cake The baking Soda also release CO₂. The dough rises.

I often use baking soda, vinegar, Agario and dish soap together to clean stubborn stains on cooking pots.

I use baking soda to soak sweat soaked clothes, which effectively remove sweat odor. I exercise regularly in summer, and the usage is very large. By the way,I buy baking soda from echemi, price is better.
