SiO2 +H2 heat 1000 Deg. =Si +H2O

SiO2 is heated in the presence of high heat then it is possible to split Si & H2O

Yes need temperature above 1200 °C.

Temperature also needs to be considered because when heated at too high a temperature, the reaction that occurs will cause the substance to be separated not to be absolutely accurate.
