NaBH4 driven to completion by heating?

Good day! In the lab, we performed solvent-free reductive amination. Once the imine product has been generated, The addition of NaBH4 and ethanol is needed to form the corresponding amine product. I added the needed NaBH4 equivalent and 15 ml ethanol to the imine product and mixed until all had been dissolved. I monitored the completion of the reaction via TLC, and it showed that the starting material was still present. I heated the solution mixture, and after it boiled while the mixture was still hot, I tried to do another TLC monitoring in which, this time, the starting material had disappeared. Is it safe to deduce that the reaction was driven to completion by heating the solution?
