Iron precipitation

Greetings to all,
I ask you a question:

can you please show me how to precipitate the iron present in a saline solution (100 ml saturated NaCl + 90g ZnCl2 + 13g NaNO3) in the form of hydroxides ?
The pH is approx. 3.
I tried to increase the pH with KOH and then with NaOH but in both cases it forms a kind of milky precipitate.

The main goal is to discolor the reddish solution.

Many thanks in advance to anyone who will be able to give me a solution.

Better use Ammonia in excess. Zinc get complex. Iron get hydroxide precipitation
