Fiberglass is a compound of glasfibres with epoxy resin. These are very difficult to destroy. The resin can be attacked by some solvent like alkylglycol ethers, NMP, DMF, Tetraetch and others at alkaline conditions at high temperature followed with an alcaline Permanganate etch. The glass can only attacked by bifluorides at low pH.
In practise these method is used in the manufacturing of printed circuit boards. The FR4 resin is treated after the holes are drilled by this process. It is called desmear.

It's really difficult because if fiberglass can decompose, it requires something very toxic to destroy it. But it's really risky to try.
