struggling to find balanced chemical reaction
What would be the balanced chemical reaction if NiSO4.6H2O reacted with LiOH.H2O and (NH4)2S2O8 in the presence of H2O (as the solvent of the solution is H2O and heat? I am struggling to find a balanced chemical reaction.

Re: struggling to find balanced chemical reaction
It will only a precipitation of Ni(OH)2 take place.
Ammonium will release Ammonia.

Re: struggling to find nalanced chemical reaction
Thank you for the response. Wouldn't the reaction look like:
NiSO4.6H2O + (NH4)2S2O8+2LiOH.H2O+H2O -> LiNiO2+LiHSO4+(NH4)2SO4+H2SO4?
If not, what would be the actual chemical reaction?
NiSO4.6H2O + (NH4)2S2O8+2LiOH.H2O+H2O -> LiNiO2+LiHSO4+(NH4)2SO4+H2SO4?
If not, what would be the actual chemical reaction?

Re: struggling to find balanced chemical reaction
Can you read what I wrote?
Ni 2+ + 2 OH- => Ni(OH)2
And NH4+ + OH- => NH3 + H2O
I dont think S2O8 2- is strong enough to oxidise Ni in an aqueous solution as you wrote.
Maybe in a melted form it would be different
Ni 2+ + 4 OH- => NiO2- + 2 H2O + e-
S2O8 2- + 2 e- => 2 SO4 2-
Ni 2+ + 2 OH- => Ni(OH)2
And NH4+ + OH- => NH3 + H2O
