Hello everyone
Greetings....
Is it possible to have metal bonds (like Mn-O, Mn-S) vibrations in FTIR Spectroscopy?
In most spectrum only vibrations of organic compounds (like O-H, C-H) are obtained.
Is there any specific reason?

Re: FTIR Spectroscopy
Does Manganese oxide or -sulfide absorb IR light? What kind of bonding do we have there in comparison to C-O. Do you know its wavelength? Only compounds who can absorb IR can be measured, these are compounds of elements in the second periode.
