Formaldehyde solution dilution

Post by easypeasyac »

Hello;
I need to prepare this solution:
Contains formaldehyde solution 9.72 g (equals to 3.4 g formaldehyde), ddH2O ad 100 ml.

I have this formaldehyde solution in my hand:
https://www.merckmillipore.com/GB/en/pr ... HEM-104002

How can I calculate dilution ratio?
Thank you.

9,72 g 37% w.w HCHO is equal to 3,5964 g HCHO 100%
For 3,4 g you have to use 9,19 g and fill to 100 ml with water.
