Identifying chemical amount of Ions

Post by Chemic »

Hi guys,
can anyone please help me with this questions?
I need a step by step answer so I could apply it to other questions as well.

Calculate the chemical amount (moles) of potassium ions in 248.0 ml of a 0.1047 M solution of potassium phosphate?

The question is which potassium phosphat is meant. There 3 different ones available. Which ones?

But general you calculate the moles of the 248 ml 0,1047 M . If you know the formula of the potassium phosphate, then multiply with the amount of K+

could you please explain more?

in my question I have the following instructions:

The chemical amount of ions is determined from this value, adjusting for the number of ions for every formula unit ?

Step by Step
Let say we have Dipottassiumhydrogen phosphate.
First what is the formula of it?
Second what is mole of your given number. 248 ml ; 0,1047 M
How many pottassium moles does it correspond
