Balancing an equation.

The equation itself is asking for
Cl2(g) + SO3-2(aq) -> SO4-2(aq) + Cl(aq)

I have already figured the Cl, but I’m wondering what’s up with the sulfite and sulfate. Because unless I actually multiply both by 0, there doesn’t seem to be a way to balance it. And even if 0 is the answer, how would that factor into trying to determine how much chlorine gas is required to react with what is essentially nothing?

Cl2 + 2 e- => 2 Cl- Reduktion

SO3 2- + H2O => SO4 2- + 2 H+ + 2e- Oxidation
