I did an experiment with potassium iodate and calcium nitrate tetrahydrate. I now need to figure out the chemical equation for this reaction. I believe the reactants should look like this: KIO3 + Ca(NO3)24H2O =

But im not quit sure what the products are.
If someone could help me out on finishing this double displacement reaction that would be great! Thanks

What kind of Experiment did you do?. These two salts don't react each other. Both are solouble in water.
