mixing coal powder with alcohols

Post by flowwolf »

Dear forumers,

Generally speaking, does mixing fine coal powder (dust) with perfume (particularly with different type of alcohols or volatile oil) result in poisonous gases?

Thanks

Thanks, and what would be the situation if I mixed perfume (alcohols or volatile oil) with burning wood or coal? That is, simply speaking by pouring that into a wood or coal based furnace. Would that result in poisonous gases?
