It is:

C3H8+a(O2+3.76N2)->bO2+cCO2+dCO+eH2O+fH2+gN2

a,b,c,d,e,f,g are all unknowns.

Propane combasts as follows:

Code: Select all

C3H8 + 5 O2 => 3 CO2 + 4 H2O
The nitrogen doesnt react, and also no hydrogen will developed.

Code: Select all

C3H8+5 (O2+3.76N2) -> 0 O2+3 CO2+0 CO+4 H2O+0 H2+ 18,8 N2
