You have to develop the oxidation and reduction equation first.
sugar you can change to

Code: Select all

C12 (H2O)11
Then you take each 6 C to oxidize to

Code: Select all

CO2
and CO

The reduction is

Code: Select all

2 KNO3 => N2 + K2O + 5 (O)
The combination guides to the result.
