We used FeCl₃ solution to etch Ni wire where Fe₃O₄ particls covered .

after etching process we still can see Fe₃O₄ particls

but I have wonder

is there any chemical interaction between

Fe₃O₄ and FeCl₃

No really

in Fe₃O₄ the iron has oxidation number 2 and 3 in FeCl₃ its also 3. So there will be no reaction between. FeCl₃ contains sometime some amount of HCl. The HCl is able to react with Fe₃O₄.
