homework problem

i was 10 mL of water and 1g of ammonium thiocyanate, soo i add 1g of barium hydroxide octahydrate, but i don't know how make the equations formula, please help me. :(

i think it makes sense to start with this. NH4SCN + BaHâ‚‚Oâ‚‚ * 8 Hâ‚‚O

In the solution you have Ba(OH)2

The Octa hydrate is dissolved in the water.

Ba(OH)2 x 8 H2O + 2 NH4SCN = Ba(SCN)2 + 2 NH3 + 10 H2O
