Help : Chlorine Tablet to Powder to Tab again ! Possible ?

Hello,
I am wondering if its possible to turn a 167mg effervescent Cl Tablet comprise of various compounds, crush it into powder and re-press it (using a manual pill crusher) into a 5 x 33mg size tablet without loosing effectiveness ? and have 5 evenly distributed 33mg tablets. Or is the fact of crushing the tablet diffuses all the compounds randomly with one of the 33mg tab having a certain % of the compounds and another 33mg tab having other % making the process uneven, unreliable and useless.
Sorry for the use of the non technical terms, I am obviously a neophyte.
