Making Glucose

hi there, i am trying to make glucose for an experiment but I'm not sure how to. i have worked out that if i take sugar and water they make the chemical formula for glucose

i was using the balancing tool on this website but it said that it was a chemical impossibility. is this true or could it work?

I copied your equation C₁₂H₂₂O₁₁ + H₂O -> 2C₆H₁₂O₆ into the chemistry tool http://www.webqc.org/balance.php
and got the result Balanced equation:
C₁₂H₂₂O₁₁ + H₂O = 2 C₆H₁₂O₆

Everything works! Make sure use O for oxygen, nor 0 (zero): very common mistake
