The pigment should be oil soluble, but not water soluble. I'm hoping to find a purple pigment that preferably, but not necessarily, can be used at room temperature. The goal is a pigment that will break down in septic systems.

Make it fluorescent and trace with UV light, but if you want to make an invention, you better not disclose it to the public before filing a patent application.
