Chemistry help needed

My Wife is studying teaching at uni and requires some chemistry knowledge for her assignment.
The group is doing a talk on Sexually Transmitted Diseases and to prove the ease of transferring was toying with the idea of giving all the students a cup of water and one or two of them being spiked (Some sort of contamination to show the presence of STD's) then asking the students to each mix their water with a couple of other students in the class. At the end she would need to be able to test for the contamination in each students cup to measure the spread of contamination.
I sugggested using chlorinated water and doing a pH test at the end but we think this may be able to be construed as pH is not a positive Yes/No answer.
Can anybody think of a better idea.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
