I am having trouble determining the products for this chemical reaction. I think that there is H₂O? CO₂? + (what else). Thank you.

To determine products of this reaction you need to know what exacly C₆H₈O₆ is and how many COOH functional groups it has.
Do you know it's name or structural formula?

C₆H₈O₆ is ascorbic acid. We didn't study organic acids or functional groups yet. That's why i need help , our teacher didn't teach us this stuff

In this case products will be:
CO₂, H₂O and NaC₆H₇O₆ (Sodium Ascorbate).
Balanced reaction is:
Na₂CO₃ + 2C₆H₈O₆ = 2NaC₆H₇O₆ + CO₂ +H₂O
