I was trying to balance this equation from my homework:
H2SO4 + Zn = ZnSO4 + H2O
Balancer tells 'an imposible reaction'.
Does anybody know why? and what am I doing wrong?
Cannot balance this equation

It's indeed an imposible reaction.scuba2 wrote:I was trying to balance this equation from my homework:

There should be H2 instead of H2O:
H2SO4 + Zn = ZnSO4 + H2
It certaintly is. Perhaps one of the options in the homework is "impossible to balance"?
