Hydroxide and Sulfate IONS
You are given a solution that may contain one, both, or none of hydroxide and sulfate ions. How would you test for the presence of these ions?

test for SO42- - solution of BaCl2 (if SO42- is present, precipitate of BaSO4 will be formed)
