AgNO3 + Na2HPO4 = ??? and CuSO4 + Na2HPO4 = ???

Post by PhD Dre »

All species initially aqueous:

AgNO3 + Na2HPO4 = ???
Observed was a yellow solution and whitish precipitate,

CuSO4 + Na2HPO4 = ???
Observed was a light blue solution and light blue precipitate,

so in both there was a reaction, what precipitates out for each rxn :?: :?:

I think the precipitates are the corresponding phosphates:
Ag3PO4 and Cu3(PO4)2
