Please Help me with this electron configuration problem!!!!

How many electrons (if any) must be (gained/lost) for each of the following to achieve a noble gas electron configuration?


Calcium atom
Chlorine atom
Chlorine ion
Sulfide ion


The options are Gain 3, Gain 2, Gain 1, No Change, Lose 1, Lose 2, Lose 3

Calcium atom | Lose 2
Chlorine atom | Gain 1
Chlorine ion | No Change
Sulfide ion | No Change
