Post by browneyes »

If a chemist analyzed 0.256 mg Zn on an air filter used for a 96 L air breathing zone sample. What was the exposure concentration to zinc oxide fume during the air sampling period?

2Zn + O2 = 2ZnO
m(ZnO) = (m(Zn)/M(Zn))*M(ZnO)
w(ZnO) = m(ZnO)/V
