Equilibrium Problem

Post by joseleena »

At 25°C, Kp = 2.9 10-3 atm3 for the following reaction.

NH4OCONH2(s) reverse reaction arrow 2 NH3(g) + CO2(g)

In an experiment carried out at 25°C, a certain amount of NH4OCONH2 is placed in an evacuated rigid container and allowed to come to equilibrium. Calculate the total pressure in the container at equilibrium.

I tried making an ICE table and setting it equal to the equilibrium constant but it didn't work out. Any help and explanation would be much appreciated. Thanks!
