If you put clinoptilolite-Na in hard water, it exchange sodium with calcium and soften water.

If I put clinoptilolite-Na in dilute H₂SO₄ solution, does it exchange sodium with hydrogen? Can we make Clinoptilolite-H ?

No, Clinoptilolite is Na₆(Si₃₀Al₆)O₇₂·20H₂O

If you add sulfuric you will get SiO₂, Al₂(SO₄)₃ , Na₂SO₄. It destroy it.

Is there any inorganic material that gives hydrogen rather than sodium as a donor during cation exchange?

I know some organics such as peat gives hydrogen. But it is organic.

I dont know. Why it must be inorganic. Organic Polystyrenicsulfonic acid works very well.
