Hydrogen peroxide Concentration:
I am currently conducting a lab studying the exothermic reaction between 20% hydrogen peroxide solution and 20% Sodium Hydroxide solution and I need to higher the concentration of the 3% Hydrogen peroxide to 20% by evaporating the water out and my idea of testing the concentration is to test the ph but all the ph test strip i have are expired, are there ways for me to test the concentration with out using a ph test strip? Thank you very much

Re: Concentration of Hydrogen Peroxide
You can do titration with Acid. But I dont catch what you want to do. You change H2O2 concentration but NaOH is the same. What is your target.

Re: Concentration of Hydrogen Peroxide
Thank you for the idea! I am aiming to change the concentration of Naoh later since I currently does not have it on hand, I am focusing on the hydrogen peroxide right now. Thank You

Re: Concentration of Hydrogen Peroxide
The Peroxide you cannot measure by pH. You can also do titration with Cerium or iron II or iodide.
