Hallo everyone,
I am not good at chemistry nor english so i will ask Simply Way:
What is wrong with this Formula?
Ba(OH)2+SO2=BaSO3+H20
Ask for correct formula

Re: Ask for correct formula
It has to be H2O not H20
Re: Ask for correct formula
Thank you Chen! Stupid mistake
Re: Ask for correct formula
H2SO4 + H2O2 = H2SO5 + H2O
H2SO5 + SiO2 + C3H8O = SiC/SiO2 + H2O + S + CO2
I don't know exact product after H2SO5 reaction with SiO2 and IPA. But in the product there is SiC/SiO2 complex. Please help me to find correct chemical equation.

Re: Ask for correct formula
Both reactions will not take place
Peroxide and sulfuric acid exist both side by bside.
Its opposit if you have peroxomonosulfate, will decompose to sulfuric and peroxide
SO5 2- + 2 H+ + H2O => H2SO4 + H2O2
But the second is nonsense
SiO2 can only react with flourides or strong alcaline compounds or a mixture of cool with it. With IPA nothing happens.
SiO2 + 3 C => SiC + 2 CO
