Unit Conversion mol/kg to mmol/g
Hey!
Would someone be able to show me how to do the unit conversion for 1.5 mol/kg to mmol/g and mg/g?
Thank you so much!

Re: Unit Conversion mol/kg to mmol/g
1,5 mol/ kg = 1,5 mol/1000g = 0,0015 mol/ g = 1,5 mmol/g The number doesnt change.
For mg/g we need molar mass , without its impossible to calculate.

Re: Unit Conversion mol/kg to mmol/g
For mg/g the molar mass is 44.01
Also, how would I be able to convert 3.7 mmol/L to mmol/g?
Thanks for your help!

Re: Unit Conversion mol/kg to mmol/g
44.01 Apples or what. Need correct unit. Then can use m = n* M
For converting L to g need specific gravity.

Re: Unit Conversion mol/kg to mmol/g
3.7 mmol/L is very diluted solution, so gravity is not distinct from 1 g / ml.
Re: Unit Conversion mol/kg to mmol/g
The molar mass is 44.01 g/mol
The specific gravity is for CO2 so 1.5189

Re: Unit Conversion mol/kg to mmol/g
You need the specific gravity of the solution not from CO2. As already mentioned you can say 1 kg ~1 L but this is inaccurate.

@cheme209
3,7 mmol / l = 0,0037 mmol / g = 0,163 mg / g
3,7 mmol / l = 0,0037 mmol / g = 0,163 mg / g

What is the question with it.

3.7 mmol/L of CO2 in 1.3 M NaOH solution
convert 3.7 mmol/L to mmol/g
convert 3.7 mmol/L to mmol/g

Re: Unit Conversion mol/kg to mmol/g
If CO2 will dissolved in NaOH solution, then it will be converted to sodiumcarbonate.
There is no free carbondioxide left.
1,3 m NaOH has specific gravity of 1,05 g/ml
With this number you could calculate further but its hypothetic.

Re: Unit Conversion mol/kg to mmol/g
I tried and here i am with the solution (let me know this is right or not?)
1 g / mol = 0.001 kg / mol
I mol / kg = 1 mm / g
The conversion will now be pretty simple.
1.5 mol / kg = 1.5 mol / 1000g = 0.0015 mol / g = 1.5 mmol / g
Mg / g is impossible to calculate without the molar mass.
The value of 1.5 does not change for the rest.
