Balance equation

Post by babygirl »

Is it possible to balance this equation?
BF3(g) + H2O(l) = HF(aq) + H2BO3(aq)

If not, can you tell me what is wrong with the problem and why it cant be balance. Thank you

Boric acid is wrong, it should be H3BO3:
BF3(g) + H2O(l) = HF(aq) + H3BO3(aq)
Then you can use balancer:
